SBI - The worst banking service in India

Thats right. The State Bank Of Indiais the worst bank of India, according to my experiences.
I am a Frequent Traveler and i visit different parts of India quite frequently. Like New Delhi, jamshedpur,Patna,Kolkata,Mumbai,Bangalore,Chennai,Different places of Kerala etc. I have been to many banks in these regions and during such journeys i went to different sbi branches too as i am a student :).
According to my and many of my friend's view, S.B.I. is the worst banking service provider to general people of india. Frequent malfunctioning of ATMs are well known but... just visit ANY sbi branch specially in patna[don't laugh, i am not joking] my god.. the way they were working as if its not their duty but they are doing it as volunteers. Token system will not be followed. Long queues of people in fron of "windows". and the "babus" working ... u may see their fingers finding alphabets on keyboard. even a small kid of 6 years can type faster than that.

this is not the end. I would like to share my LATEST dealing with SBI.On 20th Jan 2009 I was required to fill a challan of 1000 rs [for christ college, bangalore, 20 rs additional bank commision]. I went to kankerbagh branch [patna]. Their 1st time i saw such a situation. Due to network failure the computer systems were not working. I went to "grahak mitra" and ask whether they will accept my challan or not. he told me to go to the main branch instead. So i went to main branch.. again long queue.. when my no came the "babu" inside counter asked me to goto another counter as it was not his job to accept the challan, I went to another counter.. and then started the game of office-office. finally i gave up and went to meet the manager.Gosh!! the manager "saheb" was still not present [the time was 12.30 pm]. what a cool job.. you can relax at your home if you work as manager in SBI :D.
Anyway.. after spending an hour there a "gentleman" uncle asked me to go to Exhibition road branch as this work was supposed to be done there according to his "knowledge". I went to that branch.. it was 2.30 pm.. lunch time. I waited there.. and 3pm the work started again. I was happy that finally i may get success but .. the "babu" inside told me that this work is not done there and asked me to goto the main branch again.. What the hell .. i concluded that these @ssho... are good for nothing. I went to main branch again.. this time again i visited several "babus" and finally i asked them "how to register a complain". Again a gentleman guided me to another building.. the local headquarter.. 5th floor.

at 4.30pm i was there on 5th floor..complain cell.. A person there asked me to wait for a "lady" who was suppose to help me there. i waited there.. around 45 mins.. she was not at her desk.. how can she be.. after all she is also an employee of SBI.. Her phoe was ringing continuously but who cares. Her 2 cellphones were lying there on the table. Then finally she came. Her name was Archana Singh. I told her my problem and ask her to Guide me to proper place so that my work could be done.. i requeted her gently and very politely with "fake" smile on my face BUT.. I forgot that time that she is also an employee of SBI :-). In a very stylish way she talked with me [with style but with horrible pronounciations] and told me the same saga.. that how many of you people are facing this problem.. she cant help me coz if she does there might be a long queue of SBI costomers[exactly these were the words that came from her mouth]. and thus she cant help me.

This was the result of my efforts. I promised myself.. i will never ever help any person if he/she is an employee of SBI.

This was my story.. I am still trying for my work to be done and still waiting for them to accept my challan. The worst day of my "banking life" . Never ever deal with this bank or rather i would say a piece of shit if you have ANY alternatives.

To Ms Archana Singh & other SBI employees
my feelings for you _||_ May god give you back what you gave me..

Google Page Rank

Page Rank calculation is Google’s way of deciding relative importance of a webpage. PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a page, the more important the page must be. Also, the importance of the page that is casting the vote determines how important the vote itself is. Google calculates a page’s importance from the votes cast for it. How important each vote is is taken into account when a page’s PageRank is calculated. It matters because it is one of the factors that determines a page’s ranking in the search results. It isn’t the only factor that Google uses to rank pages, but it is an important one. Source: Google’s PageRank explained and how to make the most of it

My blogging tips:
1.Learn from the experts.
2.Check, maintain and tracks your links.
3.Use relevant keywords in titles and in the body of blog posts. Use Google Suggest. As you type into the search box, Google Suggest guesses what you’re typing and offers suggestions in real time. This is similar to Google’s “Did you mean?” feature that offers alternative spellings for your query after you search, except that it works in real time. By suggesting more refined searches up front, Google Suggest can make your searches more convenient and efficient by keeping you from having to reformulate your query. Google Suggest might offer suggestions that you will find novel or intriguing.
4.Validate your html in your draft posts and clean it up prior to publication.
Validate the html on your front page and correct all errors.
5.Set up a Google Webmaster Account, verify your blog and use Google webmaster tools.

Tips from Experts
These are the positive factors that Google’s algorithm takes into consideration:
1. Keyword Use In Title Tag
2. Global Link Popularity Of The Site
3. Anchor Text Of Incoming Links
4. Link Popularity Within The Site
5. Age Of The Site

These are the negative factors that Google’s algorithm takes into consideration:
1. Server Is Often Inaccessible To Googlebot
2. Content Which Is Very Similar Or Duplicate to Existing Content On The Web
3. External Links To Low Quality Sites
4. Participation In Link Schemes or Actively Selling Links
5. Duplicate Meta Tags On More Pages

Google Optimization - Key Factors
Make sure your new pages link to your old ones (related posts).
Add a sitemap to your blog.
Use title optimization
Use but do not overuse relevant keywords in your posts.
Submit your site to web-directories.
Use robot.txt files to prevent non-relevant content from being scanned.
Submit your site to Google for site verification.
Write blog content for your readers - not for search engines.

Optimising your images
Google seems to prefer images of a reasonable resolution, and that makes sense because so do people. If you have to use small thumbnails on your page, make it link to a bigger image of 800×600 or bigger.
Name images in the format “/images/my-image.jpg”
Do not rename or move an image unless you really have to. The Google image bot is very slow at indexing images, so by renaming an image it may disappear out of Google for 6+ months.
No upper case filenames (nothing to do with SEO, but for your peace of mind when you move that Windows site to Linux)

NO SPACES in filenames
Use rewriting where images are dynamic
Name your image to match the phrase you want to be found for, where appropriate
Use relevant alt attributes on the images that include the phrase you want to target. Try to include the phrase in the alt attribute and filename
Use the search phrase in text in close proximity to the image. A caption below the image is perfect.

Bravery Or bravado ??

Many of us today saw this video footage of how Brave mumbai police who is well know for its encounters [do remember the fact that few encounter specialists had links with underworld in the past] killed a young guy who tried to hijack a bus [no 332] with no people inside.. yes.. he sent all the pessengers out of the bus and also no policement were injured because he didnt fired a single bullet at them.. all he was asking for a cellphone so that he may communicate but our BRAVE mumbai police killed him.. and why not to kill a person who is an easy target for you..
But one question...
if he didnt fired at police then how can it be an encounter.. ???
yes you got right.. better to call such situation a MURDER..
though its a murder but nothing will happen to the policemen who killed him.. instead he may be awarded by Mr Deshmukh or some Thakre..
the guy was from bihar and he was angry .. angry because he saw his own bothers being beated brutally by MNS workers..
This is the begining.. as i was going through the post on indiatimes site, there was one comment that this may produce 1000 more rahuls... and why not?? think rahul as an indian and yourself too.. not as a bihari or marathi.. and then tell .. was the killing justified?
I dont need your answer because i know it was not. My words may seem to be bullshit to some of you but its the truth..
I am not defending him or saying what he was doing was wight but what i am trying to say what mumbai police did.. its shameful.
where are the so called human right activists?? now you wont utter a single word from your mouth.. why??
Jago India Jago .. Not needed.. go and sleep until it comes to you.. until your own son, brother or friend is killed by mubai police.. wait till then..
thanks for reading my blog. What i wrote may hurt someone's sentiments but what i wrote is the truth. i wrote as an indian.. not a bihari. and i seek justice .. not from govt but from you.
regards.
